RECRUITING: Kansas EDGE Samuel Same commits to Iowa State

Entering the latest dead period for the NCAA recruiting calendar, Iowa State has earned its 15th commitment of the 2023 recruiting class from Samuel Same.

The three-star prospect chose the Cyclones over Houston, Illinois, Kansas, as well as Oregon State, where he visited over the past weekend.

The Derby, Kansas native is rated as the No. 14 overall prospect in the state and stands at a healthy 6-foot-5, 215 pounds going into his senior year of high school football.

Same’s commitment brings the 2023 recruiting class to 15 commitments and moves Iowa State back into the top 20 in the national rankings.
