Iowa State has added another commitment to its 2023 recruiting class in Minnesota running back / ATH recruit Carson Hansen.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete is rated as the No. 6 prospect out of Minnesota and chose Iowa State over Kansas State, Northwestern, Air Force and Army, among others.
Hansen was part of the big weekend Iowa State had with official visits during the June 10-12 weekend, and visited Kansas State before officially choosing the Cyclones.
His addition brings Iowa State to 12 commitments in the class and moves the Cyclones to No. 19 in the 247Sports national rankings.
With the move, Iowa State’s class is ranked as the fourth best in the Big 12 behind No. 5 (nationally) Texas Tech, No. 15 Baylor and No. 16 TCU.
