Iowa State earned its 13th commitment to the 2023 recruiting class on Friday, landing 2023 safety Tashawn James.

The 6-foot prospect chose Iowa State over Tulsa and Northern Iowa and marks the halfway point of the program’s 25 scholarship allotment.
