Carleton named to 2020 Minnesota Lynx roster

Iowa State legend Bridget Carleton will officially begin the 2020 WNBA season with the Minnesota Lynx.

The second all-time leading scorer in Iowa State women’s basketball history was named to the WNBA franchise’s official roster on Tuesday. There is currently no definite plan for the start of the WNBA season, which was postponed indefinitely on April 3.

Carleton appeared in eight WNBA games last season, averaging 0.4 points per game for the Connecticut Sun. It was announced last week Carleton had also signed to continue her international professional career, which is separate from the WNBA, in France.
