Former Iowa State women’s basketball star Bridget Carleton has worked her way back onto a WNBA roster, at least for the time being.

After being waived on July 3 by the Connecticut Sun, it was announced on Thursday afternoon that Carleton had signed a seven-day deal with the Minnesota Lynx.

The former Big 12 Player of the Year appeared in four games with the Sun, logging 7.3 minutes per game before being released.

She was drafted 21st overall ahead of the season.

If she plays on Thursday, Carleton will go up against Megan Gustafson and the Dallas Wings in her first game back in the league.
