XM subscribers, what do you think of the new Sirius taken over music channels ?

I tend to stick to the Rock stations in the 40s and they really changed when XM replaced theirs with the Sirius version.

I used to love Squiz (XM48), but they replaced it with Octane and it just isn't the same mix.

I do like Hair nation replacing the old XM41. XM54 -Lithium (the old LUCY) is also a pretty good station.

Anyone else lose an old favorite or gain a new one ?

I've noticed that Sirius 60 - New Country is now called "The Highway." Don't think the music has changed, but the ads they have about highways and stuff are pretty stupid.

So far I do not like it. I really liked Lucy, and this new channel just does not seem the same. I also loved 101-the joint, but the new channel again is just not the same. I will probably get used to it, but so far I hate it.

Haven't been in my car enough lately. I liked Squizz and Lucy, I'll have to check out the new format. XM41 was 80s metal anyway, so Hair nation is appropriate.

I like top tracks, the new channel seems pretty similar.

i'm pissed. i have sirius, hate xm-the format, the music, pretty much everything about it, and now because of the merger i have lost 3 of my presets-boombox went and changed to pop2k?!? punk changed to the loft or something lame like that, and backspin-the oldschool rhymes channel is just gone. seriously pissed.

i have always said that if i get a company car and it has xm for free, i would get rid of the xm for sirius and pay for it.

So here's a new listing

XM Channel Lineup

So there's a Playboy channel, which does no good because there isn't any video.

An Action Sports Music channel which I can only assume to mean they are going to play Who Let the Dogs Out, Rock and Roll Part 2, and Get Ready for This.

There's is a Margaritaville channel which isn't the same as The Joint, but still has a tropical feel to it..

I've had both and don't understand why a person would love one over the other unless it's for something original like Howard Stern.

I've only had XM, but yeah it sure beats the hell out of regular broadcast radio, that is for sure. Its exponentially better.

I liked XM18 too, I usually listen to 16 though. I hope they eventually let you add Sirius channels ala carte or X number of them for a price or something. The "best of Sirius" package does not tempt me. I used to have Sirius in my last car and wouldn't mind getting a few of those channels back to add to the XM lineup.

With Sirius we have a choice of adding a package with whatever we want. You have to have a special radio for it however.

Urg. I have 5 radios, 3 XM and 2 Sirius. After football season I will have 2.

I can't adjust to losing Fungus. It was like having my heart cut out. Kind of like the Kansas game in 2005.

I will miss the boneyard but it is coming back(xm53) in january once ac/dc runs its course. I think the boneyard plays a slightly heavier mix but I can live with hair nation. I was able to pick up the colorado isu game on sirius on saturday. I was in Nevada. I could find no big ten games though. I probably won't listen to Stern. I mainly listen to 41,53,140 and 142. I did listen to a college gameday channel on saturday that was decent. I am not sure if this is exclusive to sirius or not.

I am loving the new channels. Jam On is great, listen to it all the time at home on dish, pumped to have it in my car now. Also Dead and Buffett channels are nice additions.

Kind of upset they got rid of the rhyme.
