A Mountaineer win paired with Texas Tech beating Baylor would really turn up the Big 12 heat. Tech hosts KU in a week with College Gameday in the house and could be in a position to clinch ending the streak with a win in that game.

The Mountaineers are up 30-24 following a 3 by Jevon Carter. The second half has really been the issue for WVU, though, so we'll see if they can hang on.

I'm guessing they start hanging around the perimeter and chucking threes that they'll brick down the stretch (regression to the mean). They are impressively inept at the end of the shot clock.

I don't understand Huggins continuing to insist they go away from what got them the 58-46 lead. So far they've gotten a Miles three and a Carter lay in in about 10 possessions. They haven't gotten an easy bucket in a solid 8 game minutes.
