I didnt read all of the posts but if the 2012 national championship isnt the worst of all time, it has to be close. It was as bad or worse than Fergie's. In my opinion, it was way worse.

Nah, Fergie's version was way worse. The country group didn't account for (what seems to be) some bad choices of how the guitar chords were not in harmony with the vocalist, but it seems like he got the notes mostly right, and had a pretty "typical" vocal tone.

Fergie was tying some kind of bizarre alternate vocal tone mixed with just plain screaming.
