The bidet is a French invention. The name comes from a type of small horse or pony. You would ride the cleaning contraption like a pony.

Agree. My preferred method is lying down, on my back. Especially in public bathrooms.

might as well not wipe if you do it standing. My kids when they were little always wanted to stand and my wife always gave in but there was always **** stains leftover except when I did it as they sat.

Like most things, truth is somewhere in the middle.

You don't fully stand, but you need a little lift off of the seat. If you stand, you're going to create more smearing. If you straight up sit, you're not gonna catch everything.
