Why is Conditt not getting more minutes?

How can it be a fair critique when it's all conjecture? If he was indeed sick than it is actually an unfair critique.
It isn’t only a question involving Conditt in one specific game. It is a consistent question since he’s been here. He hasn’t had much depth before but this year we have tons. We have 9 players who have shown capable of contributing at points. We had 10 if Young was healthy. Should you play every one of them every game? No, but they all should probably see some time based on matchups and game situations.

I don’t buy the supposed report that he wasn’t healthy anyway. Prohm said he should have gotten him in there after the game. Prohm saying that seems to be a relatively regular occurrence. Maybe other coaches just aren’t honest about it but I find it very frustrating when it keeps happening.

Is it really? Have you ever played basketball? Probably not, but if you ever did you would understand it demands superior conditioning to just about any other sport.

lol...I love guys like you...I can clearly see how you could come to that conclusion based on what I wrote...

I played soccer for nearly 2 decades...so your basketball conditioning makes me chuckle. Basketball was just a way to stay in shape during the winter...and I wasn't one of the best athletes in the world...and I hate to break it to you...neither were you. :(

Only complete losers with too much time on their hands, no life, no job, no future resort to stuff like that.

Says the man with 3,309 posts since 2015 to the man with 2,922 posts since 2007.

Oh wait............make that 2,923 posts.

LMAO! Do the math genius, I average like 1 or 2 posts on here per day. There are people who average 18-20 and you want to go there? Besides, who's to say you had an account for 10 years before you decided to post? Get a life man, and quit being a troll. This thread is about Conditt, you want to talk smack because you are a snowflake then message me.

Lol, soccer? You think conditioning for soccer is tougher than basketball? I played college baseball and the conditioning from that alone meant I was in just as good of shape as any soccer player.

I doubt you were a Division 1 athlete either, these guys are on a different level of fitness than you or I.

Still nobody can provide an update on why Conditt is in "terrible" shape? Lol, that was one of the funniest things I've read on here.

You’re just dumb. I mean one of the dumbest posters here. You aren’t an Iowa State fan, you’re just an *******

LOL...you see, this is when I can say for certain you never played soccer...because that statement is so laughable, you should apologize. You were NEVER in as good as shape as a soccer player playing college baseball. Stop it...I can't argue with you because you have no idea what you're talking about.

There are only two baseball players, IMO, ever who MAY have been able to compete in terms of conditioning with any professional soccer player.

The only thing you said that was accurate was the last half of your last sentence.

Seven pages in, wow... It's pretty simple to understand for anyone with half a brain of basketball knowledge: 1. There are 2 guys ahead of Conditt that are currently better than him and more experienced, 2. He's a true freshman who is still developing physically and learning what it takes to compete at this level.

If it were not for Young's injury Conditt probably would have been reshirted this year I bet. He is listed at 6-10 216 which he could use some more muscle on that frame to be able to physically hold his ground with some of the top post players in the conference. Lard is 245 and Jacobson 230, both are physically more developed than him at the moment. No one is questioning his talent or effort, the kid has done everything asked of him and I'm sure will be ready the next time his number is called. Highly doubt Prohm is intentionally holding him back for some other reason, where are the threads on why Lewis, Talley, and Griffin don't play more? They all can help this team in ways too but right now there just aren't minutes to go around and if we want to compete for a conference championship you have to put your best players on the floor as much as possible.

Conditt will have his days and he has a bright future here with a lot of potential. You can bet there are games to come this season he will make a big impact for us when he's called on. It's hard to argue with the rotation coach is using right now when we are winning games and 2 of our starters from last year haven't been able to crack the starting 5 yet either. Amazes me how we still have negative Nancy's here that can't just enjoy the team and the success they are having so far and instead want to find a new angle to criticize Coach Prohm.

When we play Baylor since no guard could guard Mason at 6'1" I would try Conditt on him, why because he would have trouble shooting over him. Plus if he could get around him Conditt could make it tough with his wide stance. I know it won't happen but would be fun to watch. Mason was unconscious against OU last night!

I would try Talley before Conditt.

Could Prohm perhaps play Tally a few minutes a game? Yeah. But they are winning and until I actually see guys wearing down I don't think it is a problem. Definitely not a problem to be so angry about.

Who’s angry?

Just the normal group of fragile fans that can’t handle any critiques not their own. Prohm himself alluded to missing an opportunity to play Conditt.
