I've only listened to the occasional podcast on a long car trip. Otherwise, I don't really get the appeal.

In regard to a lot of stuff, yes. I'd say the main reason, for me though, is because I have a bunch of golf podcasts I listen to and then a few others like Pod Save, PMT, and some other stuff. I'm not a huge podcast listener so by the time I'm done with those, I'm just out of time to listen. I probably have a dozen to catch up on at any given moment.

I use the podcasts as white noise while mowing or other stuff. I listen, but I don't really absorb what's being said.

The right answer, obviously, is to read every article and listen to just about every podcast. Hmm, I should probably start becoming a patron sooner than later.

I listen to most of the podcasts. Either at work or like others said, while doing yard work.

Pro Tip: Set the speed at 1.5x (or 2x if you're crazy).

i tried a few but it seems like i'm sifting through 45 minutes of talking to get to 5 minutes of new information.
I like to listen to them when I'm working/ when I play video games. They're usually pretty entertaining and give good info but if you ready all the articles then you're probably not going to get any new info out of the podcasts

I would love to listen to the podcasts but don't have blocks to time to facilitate that. I work from home so do not have a commute. I have radio on for background noise during the day but can't play anything that requires paying attention or my work productivity suffers. :(

I listen to the podcast but don't really read the articles. Most of the information from the articles you'll find a big thread on anyways and I have forums as my bookmark.

Podcast to me is just a more interesting way to get the information. It's great to listen to when you have some mindless work to do, or things like mowing/yardwork/biking.

Normally I'm anti podcasts and pro reading, but I recently began listening to podcasts during my daily commute. I'll download an episode of Bigger Pockets 50mins-1hr, which gets me to and from work as I commute 30 mins each way. Its been far better than the radio and now I don't feel like I'm bothering people with daily phone calls anymore.

I listen to them all except the FAWcast when driving to/from work or when sitting somewhere for lunch.

Never listen. Tried to listen to a couple but as someone said above there is only 5 minutes of relevant information that is typically old news anyway just by the timing of the podcasts.

Maybe if I was a little younger the off topic conversation would be a little more funny and I would listen for just pure entertainment but it mirrors the same type of humor on the KXNO afternoon show which I stopped listening to as well.

I listened to a podcast just once. It don't want to listen to a ten minute podcast when I can read an article much faster and quickly skim over parts I don't find compelling. If there's no article, I just do without.
