dont play willow creek but love veenker memorial golf course in Ames. Since I have moved I got spoiled by veenker being such a great course and cheap. On monday and thursday's you could play 18 holes for $11. In cedar falls the courses are not nearly as nice. There not nearly as challenging either

I'm on a league at Woodland Hills and Briarwood - prefer Briarwood and since I live in Ankeny it's so close.

1-3 times
- Toad Valley (has a Greens and Blues Fest 4-5 times a year, Saturday nights where golf is cheap and they provide a pretty good meal afterwards with a live band outdoors - went once last year and had a great time.)

- Beaver Creek
- TCI
- Sugar Creek
- Jester

Haven't played Willow Creek yet but it's on my list. So is Harvester and Copper Creek this summer.

We should have a thread for tee times - something to let guys know if you have the afternoon off or have a tee time with some openings - nothing better than golfing, drinking beer and talking cyclones with like minded people.

I'm really looking forward to playing Congressional and Cog Hill this summer. Hoping to make a trip down to visit my pa this fall and playing TPC at Sawgrass and Amelia Island Plantation...

Willow Creek is not to bad, its mostly flat with small hills. I played it once. the greens are a little challanging. Sleepy Hollow, is small and condensed par 3, for the short game practice. Waveland I just plain love.

I play Willow Creek some, that is the Willow Creek in Rochester, MN. When I was in Ames I mostly went to Veenker. Every once in awhile I would sneak down to Ankeny to play.

I'm a big Waveland fan too... The course has gone a bit downhill lately but hopefully when they let a private firm take over it will help the condition of the course. If they had a range I would seriously consider getting a pass...

buy the pass and get three golf courses- Waveland, Blank, and I can't think of the other one. I want to say woodland but not for sure

Jester and Beaver Creek mostly, but then I don't get to golf much anymore.

Jester is a great course for a good price.

Well I was shopping for a new car, which one's me?
A cool convertible or an SUV.
Too bad I didn't know my credit was whacked,
cuz now I'm driving off the lot in a used sub-compact.
F-R-E-E, that spells "free," credit report dot com baby.
Saw their ads on my TV. Thought about goin' but was too lazy.
Now instead of lookin' fly and rollin' phat,
my legs are sticking to the vinyl and my posse's getting laughed at. F-R-E-E, that spells "free," credit report dot com baby....

I have played and enjoyed most of the courses listed. If you like the premier courses, you must play the Riverside Casino course. $65/round w/cart.
