McD said he may suit for this game, so it sounds like things are getting closer. Maybe next week he will be able to play.

He suited up, but limped noticeably.

I heard he's suspended for a year...he took a Tic Tac from Carlos Boozer courtside, now he's considered a professional.

This is the post of the century!! This is so something that would happen to us to!! HAHA!! A+++ on the creativity:notworthy:

Hopefully for the UNI game. If we had him for the Bradley and Minnesota games, there may have been different outcomes.

I think he'll be questionable for the UNI game but should be back to full strength within 2-3 weeks. He still has a gimp to his stride but I was able to dunk on him a few times.

Did anyone notice, when Brackins went down, Wes went down to the other end of the bench and pleaded to go in?

Yeah but the 5' hoop was more your size than his. He had to bend over too much to block the shot!!

He went down and initially looked pretty bad. I felt sick. He was helped off the court and directly back into the lockerroom.

A few minutes later - about 5 or so I think - he walked back on the court and sat on the bench. The place went nuts!

But it got better.

Wes came up to him right away and then sat back down. He returned just before a break, Greg went up to him, said something and Craig reported in. Again, the place went nuts. I almost had a tear or two in my eye.

Dramatic, yes. But he was having a stellar night, clearly a guy we need and an individual with a very bright athletic future. I'm ecstatic he's ok.

If I had to choose between losing Brackins for a while or losing that game, I'd take the loss 10 times out of 10.

Great post 22, I can't wait to see how Brackins develops throughout this year and hopefully next, and the one after that, AND the one after that...

I'm starting to think Brackins is TOO good. I think its important to the program that he stay at least 3 years so we can capitalize when these guards develop and obviously it would be great if he stayed 4. But I have to say this kid is special and it don't look good for keeping him to many seasons.

I hope Wesley is not rushed back because of the last two outcomes. In the grand scheme of things, these non-conference games are less important than conference games. The most important thing is that he is healthy and ready to go when they decide to put him on the floor

I can guarantee you Mac won't put Wesley in too early. He said yesterday that he's going to be cautious because he doesn't want to lose him for longer because of a re-injury.
