After Houston, I think OSU is winnable with Gilbert resting another game. However, Kalderman was -11 in +/- last game.

I know Curtis will be back soon, but what is the timeline on Keshon? Hopefully both are back by Arizona.

Curtis should easily be back by Arizona. I don't think anyone is really sure how bad Keshon is hurt. If it's just a minor lingering thing or if their is a real problem. I think if we have all a full team we win out until the big dance.

Jefferson was worse than that. Common denominator with +/- is that it's generally bad if a player doesn't score. Kelderman's role in the game wasn't about scoring. Unfortunately he was seeing time during long scoring droughts by our team, but I wouldn't put him as the cause of said droughts.

As statistics go on a scale of 1 to 10 on how they accurately portray things, I would give +/- a 2.

I don't mind it overall as a basic/dumbed-down measure, but it's extremely contextual... and doesn't really provide that context on its own. There's much better sources of truth.

Rewatching the game right now, very proud of Kelderman, showed all the basics of good fundamental defense, with hustle and intensity. You can tell he hasn't been just showing up for practice, and staying engaged for these long seasons as a bench player is not easy! Good for that young man whose character and enthusiasm I enjoy watching when he is riding the bench and I enjoyed watching him get to play.
