my family does it Christmas morning. But I know people who do it a lot of other times. What time do you open gifts?

My sister and I used to force Christmas Eve when we were younger, but now we all get together Christmas morning, followed by grandparents in the evening, and the other grandparents on Friday night.

It's a marathon.

Usually leave those for Christmas morning, but every so often we'll have some "joke" presents or little presents that we have each other open after/before the late service at church.

Most of the time when I was younger we would open gifts on Christmas Eve. The next day we would always travel to the grandparents houses and open presents there too.

Sept. 9th, same time as the stores put up decorations and start the music.

Christmas morning with my wife and son. Dinner that night with my parents and sisters family. Wife's family whenever and other extended family whenever we plan the trip for, usually a weekend before or after.

You must have been a good boy this year...

hawks bein good, and can afford presents?:biglaugh::jimlad:

Has to be the morning of! When I was younger we pushed the envelope by waking up at 3am and opening them, played with whatever and looked all the others left out. parents went back to bed till like 9 and opened the rest.

I can't wait either. I just hope I am not to hungover after New Years.

That was also part of my thinking; I missed the first part of last years game. Something about watching the bright snow and ice seems to not agree with my hungover eyes :biglaugh:
