What's Up Iowa? [PIC]
That can't be real.
If you look at the actual polls you'll see that about 50 or 100 people voted from iowa, not hard to skew a poll with that few people taking it.
Ha, in one poll 6 people from Iowa responded.
Dumb thread.......results are crap
wow Bing is a favorite. Interesting.
These results have to be crap.
A sampling directly from Time...

In the rest of the world apparently, not here, according to this highly scientific poll.
It amazes me how folks go out of their way to rip this state. Why?
We are actually becoming one of the most progressive. Does that scare?
the results are crap....close this thread
Shhhhh, grown ups are talking.
Obviously not scientific. Just thought it was kind of funny.
I picture this as the kind of stuff statistics majors joke about when they get together.
It's obviously people having fun with the poll. Notice that the two Michael Jackson questions don't match.
I'm guessing those polls use IP addresses as your "location" which is not always accurate. I'm most definitely in Iowa, but my work IP is listed as being in St. Paul, MN.
These aren't real! Look near the bottom for the question "Should Congress pass a resolution honoring Michael Jackson as a Humanitarian?"
The overall results are 86% Yes, 14% No.
But the graph shows Iowa as the only state with a overall "yes" vote??????
Either every iowan voted multiple times and nobody from other states voted at all. Or, the poll is no legit.
Statistics majors have a sense of humor?
I keed... I keed.... :jimlad:
stephen colbert beating out Letterman and Conan? yeah right.
You know D this honestly never bothers me. I used to get static all the time in the service (typically from rednecks from the southeast ) I would just smile and say you're right, you should never come to Iowa.
I know, its not like I cant really take it. But its more of a curiosity why we get singled out alot. Are they jealous of the awesomeness that is?
Given that there are a very few votes from Iowa in about any of those polls, me thinks that someone is having fun.
