I'm a big JP backer and fan and have no doubt he is doing some great work behind the scenes for us.

With saying that, what is he doing right now to help us ensure quality athletics in our future? Is he trying to sell us to the Big Televen? Trying to keep the south schools in the Big 12? Getting our foot in the door with the MWC?

Like I said, I'm not doubting him or saying he should be doing something, because he is, my question is what do you guys think his game plan is for all of this?

either one of two things:

1) In a corner crying himself to sleep

2) Trying to find a job at a BCS conference school that can afford him

GG Is doing much much more. Athletics is a small piece of the puzzle in this whole thing. Conference affiliation effects ISU as a whole, not just athletics.

So far he has not demonstrated himself to be a quitter, I wouldn't be so sure that he is going to go down without a fight. Besides, if he runs right now, his stock as a major school AD will not be very strong.

I believe KXNO has invited him on several of their programs, but he has stated he is not talking right now.

You're BLIND! Football is the only part of this that matters... academics and research have ZERO to do with it....

I'm sure he's talking to not only KSU, KU and mizzou; but he's also probably talking to Texas telling them that the big 12 can still be a viable league. That's what I would do at least. Either way, I'm sure he's doing something.

I'm sure he's hard at it.

Problem is he holds very few chips in a very high stakes game.

I agree with you, but what I am saying is that the impacts of what are going on will effect ISU as a whole, and because of that, GG is probably, and should, be doing much much more than JP to make sure ISU ends up in the best situation possible when the smoke clears.
