Round of applause to those who took sports gambling, a subject that most posters on here would love to see, and instead of making this a fun thread about seeing it get passed, turned it into a political bashing.
Why have a fun time talking about something we can all like and instead talk political parties!?
Except for those that live in CR since we are not allowed to have a casino. Not driving an hour to place a bet. They will need to figure out the online side of it to make money. If it is casino only - they would probably only see 20% of the potential money

Well it certainly plays a part in it given how state laws are created, no?
From what I have read they are looking into doing an App but you have to deposit and withdraw your money from it in person at Prairie meadowsI would like to see Prairie Meadows have an app that you can bet on. They still get the tax revenue and you could bet from anywhere. Maybe that's in the plans?

I can't wait. Just got back from Vegas and it makes even boring games interesting when you have money on it. On a side note, Iowa also needs to legalize weed. It's amazing the number of places they already have up and running.
This is what I'm most excited about. I don't ever see myself dropping real money on a game, but when I'd love to throw a little money on a random MLB day game to help me get through a boring day of work.
Meadows is already building a sportsbook room. I dont think they start that project without feeling pretty good something being passed this year.
I've never bet on any sporting events...but am willing to learn!
I think worst case scenario they can prolly put table gsmes in there until it passes right?Prairie Meadows as theirs built and ready to roll once goes into law. Have to give them create for rolling the die a bit before this is even passed.
