Is that place called Bazooka's? I can see myself wearing a suit there and spending a G after we cut down the nets. Hard drugs possibly involved.
I heard angels singing when I ate their pulled pork.Any trip to KC should begin and end with Oklahoma Joe's BBQ.

Applebees. Stay away from the BBQ, its all mine. The Boulevard Tour isn't bad. You do get to drink a little at the end which is nice. When I first moved here, you got like a half hour or so to drink all you want. I think now they give you like 4 or 5 bottle caps and you can trade those in for smaller glasses of whatever beer you want. I would also suggest Grinders. Pretty damn good food and a decent beer selection. It's in the Crossroads area and that's pretty close to P&L. Have fun
Indeed indeed. And believe me, had I been of age I would've nuked my brain. The worst part? We stayed at the Ameristar hotel casino and I couldn't drink or gamble.
My wallet and liver thank me for not being of age.
Edit: but that Ameristar place was pretty neat I thought. Really crowded though.
Have you ever been to this place called the Olive Garden? Amazing food and service.
My car once I cross the border. (Not driving).
Has anyone been to the exchange? Or a bar called something similar to that.
There's a Jack Stack closer to downtown, in the Freight House on 22nd Street. If you want wings, the best in town are The Peanut's on Ninth Street.
If you're into traveling, hit Woodyard BBQ (3001 Merriam Ln, Kansas City, KS). It's the most underrated barbecue in KC.
There's a good burger joint that just opened in the P&L: BRGR. Not cheap, but quality food.
For pizza, d'Bonx is tough to beat. There's one in Crown Center and another on 39th Street. Flying Saucer isn't a bad place to hit for a variety of brews in the P&L.
The best steak place in town, Anton's, isn't far from Sprint Center. It also has a nice selection of craft beers. Again, not cheap, but the best steak I've eaten in KC.
Other places to try: Pandolfi's, Bo Ling's, Port Fonda, Westport Ale House, McCoy's/The Foundry, Beer Kitchen, Manifesto, The Rieger.
