Apparently KCCI is choosing to show the Chiefs - Dolphins game over the Super Bowl rematch of Denver - Seattle. This is the first regular season Super Bowl rematch since 1997. I understand the Chiefs are "local", but they are 0-2 and most would rather see the rematch.

Surprised that wasn't put on prime time either. At least later in the year, they flex it.

Snooze. This just make me happy that I broke down and purchased Red Zone this year. No desire to watch the Chiefs as they slip back into irrelevancy.

Was kind of funny last year. Most people realized they were winning but it was because of a soft schedule. Showed in the playoffs.

I am pretty sure in fly-by country local stations can make choices. I know in the past that they have picked one game over another.
There used to be a station, can't remember if Des Moines or CR, that let viewers vote online to choose which game they'd air. Seems like that'd be the way to go for today's viewer.

Here is the coverage map for Sunday. 90% of the nation gets the rematch, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa get the snooze fest.

I'd rather watch an 0-2 Chiefs team than the Broncos period, let alone a Broncos team with Peyton Manning in it. Freaking ultra barf. I'd say Iowa got a good break here.
