and who do you secretly root for when the Clones are in the crapper. I always liked Oklahoma when I was little. Just because Iowa State did not have much to root for. They were still my favorite. I just like when OU came to town.

When I lived in Arizona I went to all the ASU games. It's nothing like Ames. The tailgating is decent. Just does not feel like your at a college football tailgate.

So do you root for whatever team you have near you?

Minnesota and I'll root for the gophers over any other little 11 team, but I don't have any gopher gear or anything like that.

My wife's fam are supporters of the gophers too, so I get invited to a few games hear and there. I've seen some really great games vs. Wisconsin in the past 5 years and the metrodome gets LOUD for those games.....plus you can drink beer!

I just moved to Texas and my GF is a North Texas Alum. She's a big Longhorn fan but I'm going to see if we can't get Season Tix to UNT just for some football to go to. That is the recent one. Grew up in Missouri and am a big Tigers fan in Basketball. Clones in Football all the way.

I always try to root for the local team so I'd like to see San Diego State do well. I even try to go to a few University of San Diego games. It's pretty cool watching lower division football, for some reason it seems a bit purer.

Minnesota and I tend to follow teams that are close to where I am living at the time. I won't go and buy any gear but will go to some games and follow them so I can have conversations with fellow co-workers and others in my neighborhood about the team without feeling lost. I did the same thing with Arizona when I was there and Maryland when I was just outside of College Park. Though when I leave so does my interest in the team.

I am hoping to be on that bandwagon sometime in 2010, I will be trying to get into a MBA program there for 2011. We are coming out in April to check out the area and the school.

Live in Illinois (Chicago) and in football probably root for Illinois or Northwestern, but way after ISU. And actually, I kind of like seeing UNI do well in 1-AA.

I live in Washington.

I'll root for Gonzaga in bball. WSU is close and simular to ISU that it's a land grant college and kind of the lil brother of the 2 major schools, so I kind of follow them for the other sports.

ISU is number one by far, But my family is originally from Illinois and they all went to the U of Illinois except me. So I am also a huge Illini fan, other than that I like watching SEC fball but with no prefrences

Cool. Which school are you interested in? I believe SDSU, UCSD and USD all have MBA programs.

Arkansas, and although they seem to have some of the same luck ISU has, their fans are as delusional as a couple of fan bases to the west of Ames and the east of Ames, so I can't root for them while living here. I have to root for the Big 12 in general to combat the SEC is the greatest atmosphere here.

Living in Texas. I still pull for the clones even in the dark depressing times.
I really don't follow too much in terms of college sports other than ISU. But I have gotten more into the NBA (a little, not much yet), hockey, NFL and other pro sports now that I live in the Houston area.

SDSU has a Sports MBA program that I am going to take a look at.

Cool. Hopefully the Chargers will still be here for you to intern with......

SDSU is a fun campus area. It's nothing like ISU in terms of traditional campus aesthetics, but there is plenty to do. Plus it's only a 15 minute drive on Interstate 8 to hit the beaches and close to Qualcomm for football games.

Football team is horrid, but they play in a conference where they could do well in any given year. Basketball arena is kind of small, but Fischer seems to be turning the team around. If you are a golfer and live in city limits Torrey Pines is extremely affordable.
