Win8 on my normal usage PC (gaming, remoting into work, video encoding)
Win7 on 3 laptops (wife's laptops and my hardly used laptop)
Ubuntu 14.04 on a netbook (streams spotify)
Ubuntun12.04/14.04 on my DVR (runs mythtv for recording)
OpenElec on a thin client under my tv

90% of the time Chrome OS. Does 90% of what I need it to do

10% Windows 8. When I need to use something like ITunes.

Windows 7 on my desktop. Two of my laptops dual-boot a version of Ubuntu and Windows 7, default is Ubuntu, but windows is there if needed/wanted (though I rarely use my laptops these days). And my third laptop is older, and runs XP. Have considered upgrading it, but decided it is nice to have a legacy machine around.

Honestly though, my most used computing device is my phone, running Android 4.4.2

Mac. OS, whatever animal they were using 2 years ago. I got the computer because that's what I had at work and the company would get me a copy of Adobe Suite if I had a Mac. The thing still works like a champ, so I haven't bothered to change to anything else.

And just for reference, I'm not here to start a debate. I've had macs at work before that were flat out bad. It just so happens this one hasn't given me any problems.

Just reformatted my desktop from win8 to win7. I am running win10 on my laptop. I had a lot of driver issues when using ubuntu. Lenovo is a nightmare if you aren't running the native OS on the machine.

But mostly, I use my tablet around the house that's running Android (kit Kat).

Clonehomer, how did you get a copy of Windows 10? I understood that it was not going to be released until the late part of 2015?

Just upgraded to Yosemite from mountain lion today, never downloaded mavericks. I don't have an iPhone, so I'm not really sure there's a ton of changes for me other than some of the design.

Yeah, it's definitely more useful for those with other Apple products. I have an iPhone and have debated getting an iPad since I don't use my laptop anymore. I upgraded from Mavericks, as I just recently got this iMac. Continuity and syncing was a pretty big part of the Yosemite upgrade.

Nah it does what it wants, good luck getting it to do what you want.

We want to use the browser, Microsoft office and iPhoto.it does all of those.

I am not a mac guy but my old laptop died and we didn't see a need to replace it when my wife had a MacBook.
