I think Washington State's logo looks horribly dated. I'd be lobbying for a change, especially with the change in conference affiliation.

Edit: I still think the I-State logo is excellent for now. I don't think anyone is getting Iowa State and Imo State mixed up when seeing it.

I love this one because it incorporates Cy and the Cyclone in a muscular "Tazmanian Devil" depiction. Simple and recognizable.

To me, this is the answer. Put it under ISU block letters on a white helmet and perfection! If I had the photoshop skills I'd do it.
I wish we would transition to the one-color "stencil" I-State logo, at a minimum. I think we only wore it once. But our default should be a cardinal helmet with that stencil logo in gold.
I can picture something similar to LSU's helmet & I like it - probably best on white & gold, although I think it will look fine on cardinal too
Not sure which school color it should be...but the logo definitely should be "flat"!

Agree to disagree....Washington State's logo to me is timeless and incorporates their nickname along with their school acronym
This is probably our best "secondary" mark of all the modern options, no doubt. If we are not allowed to have logos before 1995, this would be my compromise. I had a yellow hat with this exact logo and it was my favorite for a really long time.
Like you said, you could combine this with the modern-font (or even 80s font) CYCLONES and it would be a winner in any context.
I state is alright.

The busier logos are fine for shirts and apparrel. But they suck on football helmets, at least for being easily and immediately recognizable on TV.

Cool, now do how many schools have an "M" logo, some almost Identical, or "O" logo, etc.
My only issue with this is the 2 shades of cardinal. Like the bevel logo it creates confusion as to which is the primary for people when looking at the template. It also has a weird muting effect to the logo, like looking at everything with a red filter. The darker red needs to be black or gray or something....."Blue" LOL J/K. But I would like to see this logo with the dark shade made black, if someone has photoshop and can change that quick, as I no longer have photoshop myself. I mean we use a lot of black, and when you look at a cardinal the dark areas are black, not darker red.
I was watching Two Guys and they were discussing how we got the new I State logo. A comment mentioned that there was a fan vote and that's how we ended up with our current logo. I had no idea that this had occurred until today! This made me think, if we were to hold a vote today. Which would you vote for?
