That is pretty decent.Rarely buy Blue Bunny any more. The brand Kwik Star sells is really good.
There are some specific rules about what you can call "ice cream". I think a lot of it is the fat content has to be at least a certain amount
Depends on the formulation, but many ice cream brands are well over 50% overrun. Also no more than 50% overrun (air whipped in).
This is what I taste with the "dairy dessert". It's like half ice cream, half cool whip. Also no more than 50% overrun (air whipped in).

Will someone out there tell me if Snickers ice cream bars are no longer good? Haven't had one in years.Same company that bought butter finger and made it taste like ass. Haven't had one in since
I make my own quite a bit. 2 cups heavy cream, 2 cups whole milk, cup of sugar, 2 tsp pure vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Delicious and better than anything you'll buy in a store.I buy whichever ice cream brand has the least amount of ingredients I can find.
There's some relatively big brand name that has a "simple" lineup that legit has 4 or 5 ingredients. Milk, cream, sugar, etc.
Breyers maybe?
This happens a lot. Best value, and all the other non marketed brands don’t have all their own facilities. Sometimes minor differences produced at larger barbs facilities sometimes it’s a 1:1That is interesting.
Also, what a random ass fact for someone to know. Lol
Not to pick nits but isn’t what Culver’s sells, frozen custard and not ice cream?Something we do frequently is buy the 4 pints at Culver's for like $11. That's good stuff.
