Saturday Dad and I hammered the bloods rounds at sweet Caroline’s! I don’t wanna say we drank it all but they had to replace the keg
I noticed you weren't having Blood Round Friday night, so am glad you came around on Saturday.
This stuff is going to be excellent grilling beer. WO may have perfected this particular blend of fruit and beer. It's usually not my deal but I was blown away. My wife was as well. Good work everyone!
Is Blood Round available in the summer? I haven’t been able to locate any in Johnston/Grimes area. It’s a perfect patio beer.
Currently it is only being sold during the wrestling season (October through March)
Thanks Stu. I was afraid of that; it makes sense. Was kinda craving it after my mow. Next March I’ll have to stock up more than I did this year.
I agree, I forgot to stock up too. Definitely a beer that would go down well during the summer
I should mention, the West O guys did say they were brewing special kegs for the golf outings/wrestle at the trestle this summer, so if you get out to those, you might get some Blood Round!
West O had a little left. We will have about 4 cases available for consumption tomorrow at the Humboldt golf outing. Thanks to West O for donating some to our outing & also donating some random West O beer to our pallet raffle
