Heavy snow, albeit short duration snow + very strong winds can easily cause blizzard conditions. Schools in North Dakota(including the universities) were closed today due to blizzard conditions despite getting a couple inches or less from this same system.

Had texts last night from a buddy and my brother and it took them each over 3 hours to get from Nationwide downtown back near Jordan Creek. Crazy.
Shoot I don't feel so bad now as I did the same thing this morning! Please tell her I'm sorry because she stated there wasn't much damage done to the rear end last night! :wideeyed:
yeah what's the world coming to? I hope they remain re-open. Sometimes restaurants do this only not to re-open again and this one would make me sad and mad, but not glad.
Forest City A&W shuts down every Nov-mid Feb. Armstrong Dairy Queen April-Oct (is more of a shack than a building).
I See we are now in a winter weather advisory for tomorrow. Sounds like a repeat of yesterday. Up to 2 inches with 50mph gusts. Should be better with not as many cars out
