Well it's rather true that players these days, a decent number of them, can't handle being criticized.

The fact is, you have no idea who has talked to Mangino about his weight, what he said to them about their concerns and what he is/isn't doing about his weight.

Like what players, for instance? You have personal knowledge that KU's players can't handle criticism? Who? Have you been at their practces? Workouts?

The guys publicly whining about it? I dunno, seems they can't hack it. It's debatable if Mangino went too far or not.

It's also widely believed that Wes could not handle the critical coaching from Greg and that's one of the reasons he bolted.

But go on, continue to make wide sweeping judgments of Mangino and his weight affecting his job. If he's a jerk and has gone too far with treatment of players, so be it. But his weight has not seemed to have a negative impact on his ability to coach/win to this point.
