Our game has come down to a three-way tie for 1st Place all of whom have only K-State left to pick:
There is also a two-way tie for 2nd Place by those who never picked a losing team, but ran out of eligible teams from which to pick:
So, I am proposing two forms of tie-breaker. If the three tied for 1st Place agree on a tie-breaker, we will use it for them. Similarly, if the two tied for 2nd place agree on a tie-breaker, we will use it for them. We can take a few days to discuss it. Anyone can offer their opinions, but I'm especially interested in hearing from those tied for 1st and 2nd. If we don't have a consensus by Wednesday night, I will make an executive decision.
Option 1: Pick the winner in a game between closely ranked rivals. Week 12 would be USC at UCLA. If there is still a tie, then Week 13 would be Florida at Florida State, South Carolina at Clemson, and Stanford at UCLA (winner gets the most correct). Picks would be made by PM and not posted until after the games are underway. This option seems to fit the nature of the game being about picking winners.
Option 2: Pick the total points in the K-State game. Or the points by K-State. Or the margin of victory. This option is very likely to bring the game to a close next week.
What do you think?
NOTE: I overlooked the fact that mikeiastat still has Ohio State to pick during Week 12. cychosis, CycloneNation18, cyguytillidie still have K-State. So, we have to let this week play out before we focus on a tie-breaker.
