That's a very big verbal. Have reffed several of her AAU games with the Fury. Presently ranked #1 player in Minn class of 2017 I believe. Very good post player, with poise.

Hard to find anything on 2017 class members. She's with MN Fury. Only thing I found. Guess I'll have to pay attention come state tournament time this spring here in the frozen north.

Amanda Zimmerman committed before she even started her freshman year of high school.

Kristin Scott’s father made it clear at halftime of Saturday’s 63-62 loss to Oklahoma State that he and his daughter were fond of Iowa State. It was the first visit on campus for Scott, a 6-foot-2 sophomore prospect from Kasson-Mantorville high school in Minnesota.
“Hopefully she goes to school here,†Randy Scott said multiple times.
On Saturday, Iowa State offered Scott, the top player in Minnesota according to 5statehoops.com, and she accepted that offer after the game, making her the first commitment of the 2017 class.
“I don’t want to go too far away from home, I like the atmosphere here, I’ll get good academics here, too,†Kristin Scott said at halftime, before she committed to Fennelly’s staff.
Scott is the Cyclones’ first commitment beyond next year’s incoming freshman class.
“I’m a strong blocker, quick on defense, and I’m a very competitive player,†she said.

We could use those attributes on this year's squad. Sounds like a great verbal.
I am very pleased with this verbal. She has a big upside as I don't think she has played close to her best basketball yet. This fills a big need for us in the future. If we can get a commitment out of Minn. for 2016 then we will have picked up good players out of that state for five straight years. Great job Cyclone staff...
