I remember the old TD meter in football…going to be fun to track Ryan as she approaches 1000 assists.
You have purpose once again! When Medders was chasing the assist record back then I had a Medders Assist Meter, and when Heather was chasing the 3 record I had an Ezell Trey Tracker.
Emily is gonna hold that assist record for a loooong time.
I love that she'll also end up top 10 in defensive rebounds, blocks (!), minutes and steals before she finally hangs them up.
She's been a great one for us.
I agree. The five year careers have made career marks sort of a false equivalency to me. I am glad Clark only played four years or she would have made the scoring and assists career marks a joke for overall NCAA records. As it is, JuJu Watkins has a god shoot at chasing the scoring mark straight up, four years to four years.
On the flip side, it helps his per-game averages since freshman year is usually a player's worst season. Stephannie Smith is ISU WBB's per-game rebounding leader, but she had the advantage of being a juco transfer so she only had her junior and senior seasons included in that average.Another but... on the men's basketball side the career leader in points and rebounds PER GAME is Zaid Abdul Aziz (Don Smith). But because of the fact that Freshmen could not play back then and fewer games played he is not so high in the totals.
She was very sharp yesterday!6 steals by Em against CMU. If she stays healthy think she's going to have the career steals record. 40 steals to break record and at least 23 games to play probably had 2 more to that.
