Watching games out of state

I have a question for all of the out of staters....

So I just moved down to Florida after getting hired on here after graduation.... and let me tell you it is sooo depressing knowing I won't be in Trice for opening kick (have had season tickets 8 years now). So I have to figure out the next best plan. I've been watching that thread on cyclones.tv and figure its probably best that I do get that eventually, and I think espn3 will have me set for basketball.

But what else is there to do for football, does that season package you can buy through cable put many ISU games on there? I feel lost having lived in Ames and being able to walk to the games, and now being so far away, this truly is the worst part about being away from home!

Thanks in advance guys!

The Iowa game will be on the Big Ten Network. Western Illinois will almost certainly be on Cyclones.tv. West Virginia will be on ABC nationally. The other 9 games will be on either Fox Sports Net (regional or national), FX (national), or the ABC/ESPN family of channels (regional or national).

Different games are on different channels. Some are on Fox Sports Network, some are on ESPN family, some are on ABC, one is on Big 10 Network. Tulsa game may be on Telemundo for all we know. There is no one right answer.

Get highest level DirecTV package and add on Sports Pak. But don't ***** about the price, because it's going to cost a ********.

Google "adthe" around game time. Make sure you use chrome or Firefox with AdBlock Plus addon and you're set.

I can almost guarantee every conference game + Iowa will be on there. They even had the Mizzou game last year and that was on their cyclones.tv equivalent.

You'll thank me later.

Thanks a ton guys... I'm really glad you posted these bars, I would have never known that! Might give me an easier way to meet people moving half way across the country by my self as well!

Cool story I wanted to tell you guys though. I went to the original hooters last weekend in Clearwater when I had some friends down. And over in the corner is a Leonard Johnson Iowa State jersey hanging from the ceiling!
