People on this board have said ESPN3/WatchESPN is available through Mediacom but every time I try to log on it says that provider is not authorized for WatchESPN. How do you all get it?

ESPN3 and WatchESPN are two different things.

ESPN3 events are available with Mediacom. WatchESPN events are not.

Most of the events I want to watch are hooked into WatchESPN. Next year it may be worse. I thinkl ESPN is moving their extra game franchise to a full pay model after a little bait and switch. Now if we had a real Big 12 Network....

what happened to net neutrality?

...what? Just because something is available on the Internet doesn't mean it should be available to all people, nor is that what net neutrality means.

I will agree that ESPN's subscriber model for these services (an end user can't pay into it, only ISPs and cable providers can) is stupid, but I imagine they get pressure from cable/satellite companies to not open the services up as it would cause a lot of unsubscribing.

I have no problems with espn3 access through mediacom. For WatchEspn, I piggyback off of my mother-in-law, a Comcast subscriber.
