A few options to consider
-Install a minisplit
-Install an in-wall AC unit. Like a window unit, but permanently installed in the wall
-Portable AC unit
Any of these will cool down your room.
I'm the opposite, I spend a good chunk of my time outside. Usually have a tractor that will dump it's AC during planting and I will have a sweat box for a week.So did I. But I spend 9 hours a day inside, at a desk, with the temperature at about 70-71. For the last 10+ years
If I try to set my home anywhere above 73 or 74 my body can't cope.
We have a couple white noise machines, one for the bedroom and one for the wife when she travels. I'd definitely recommend looking into it
