Either way, don't be an ignorant idiot that thinks that the only way to spend a Saturday afternoon is drunk. Have respect for other people's morals and choices

An ignorant idiot? Whatever. The only thing I said is that people drink at tailgates. That's a fact. If they are drunk and obnoxious in the stadium or sneak liquor in, then they run the risk of facing the consequences if security finds out. Just don't be surprised that it happens, because it happens everywhere...or at least everywhere except for religious schools with no tailgating.

BTW, it's my business how much or how little I drink before a game. And I don't usually drink that much. But if you come across our tailgate, I suggest you keep on walking.

I know ISU grads that refuse to go to games in Iowa City or ISU anymore due to the ugly nature of the drunken fans. In fact, I have seen articles about how bad it gets in the Des Moines Register. Yeah, you guys do have great tailgating, but there is nothing else to do in Iowa. There is a lot more competition for the entertainment dollar in Texas than Iowa, that's just a fact.

If you are saying that there's nothing better to do in Iowa on a football Saturday than sit outside, grill some food and crack a few cold ones, then I agree. It's called tailgating. You guys should try it sometime.

And ruining the game experience for everyone around them (except for the other drunk people).

Well, then the people around them should turn them in if their game experience is being ruined. Like I said, people who do that run the risk. Just don't be surprised that it happens, because it happens everywhere...except for backward, dry campuses/counties where people dress up to go to FB games like it's prom.

I really like Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. I've had such negative driving experiences in Dallas I don't think I could possibily live there. I couldn't really live in either of the other places as well but there are parts of Texas I really enjoy to visit. That doesn't change the fact that everybody I've ever known from Texas thinks Waco is weird and lame.

All that being said, I wish we weren't having "location smack". We lost, we have probably the biggest game of our season coming up, and I'd love to see what people think about NU.

I havent been anywhere else, but Im sure its all great.

All the quotes about David Koresh and the Branch Davidians...Totally hilarious and amazingly true. Obviously, since we are the largest BAPTIST university in the world, we would totally identify with their belief system...especially since their compound was just a few miles from Waco. Sounds a lot like desperation insults being thrown around in here. Seriously, get a clue. Look forward to rolling you guys again in your house next year.

Cheshire, don't take stuff so personally. Frankly I highly doubt people wouldn't have gotten so heated if Osoprimo had an ounce of tact. You and all of the other Baylor posters have been a pleasure to have here and I hope you do make it back when we play in basketball.

There is of course a lot of sour grapes going on here but if you had an ISU poster like Oso polluting your board people probably would be getting pissed off as well.

It's not that I'm taking it personally. It just gets old listening to people harp on the same BS that has nothing to do with our university or our football team. I live in Dallas. I've lived in Waco though and I think most would admit that it's no NYC. It's a working class, blue collar city that just happens to have a University in it where most are privileged. My whole family has attended Baylor. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. etc. I have grown up around Baylor and it's a great place with great people. I have chosen to go to the University of Nebraska though next semester (long story short, my mom got sick so I stayed home to help out around here the past few months). Baylor isn't for everyone. I love Baylor, what it stands for, and it's athletic programs, but it's not for everyone. It's not going to be the same as the state schools most of you guys are familiar with. Face it...Y'all only play us 6 times every 12 years lol. It's going to be different than what you're used to. Small school, private school, Baptist school lol.
