I get around
Got any link to this? It would be very good to understand the details better. Thanks.
If it had actually happened it would have made national if not world news. I'd like to see the link and documentation also.

From the above link: "A review of available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records revealed no evidence that vaccination contributed to patient deaths."

Got my second dose of Pfizer on Thursday and was completely wrecked all day Friday. High fever, chills, and crazy body aches. I’ve never hard a bad reaction to a vaccine before so this really caught me by surprise. Anyone else have a hard vaccine experience?
This happened with me after the first dose. Really bad the night of and day after, but after that day I was fine. My wife also had a rough go of it after her second dose.

I have not seen any information with direct links of someone dying from the vaccine.

I've seen one story, and it's really debatable whether you can attribute it to the vaccine or not.

There are a handful of exceptionally rare cases (talking in the 30's per 10's of millions) of people who after getting vaccinated have developed ITP, which is a condition where the body's immune system attacks your blood's platelettes, which hinders proper blood clotting. This results in some ugly looking symptoms that can be dangerous, but otherwise are completely treatable. However, in one case, someone died.

I don't have the link, but there is a story in the NYT about it, and per one of the leading experts in ITP research, this is something that also has happened with the MMR vaccine, but with similar extreme rarity. Basically, it's so rare it's not really worth any consideration, unless you already currently are known to have ITP, in which case you should be consulting with your doctor anyways.

I had ITP briefly as a young child, so that story spooked my already politically-motivated-to-be-against-the-vaccine parents (and understandably so). But there's been nothing else I've seen to suggest that this is anything but a fluke. Sucks for the people who have to deal with it, and scary, but a fluke nonetheless.

Good info thanks. I will definitely read about that. Like you said though, it is extremely rare and when you compare that to what COVID can do on a regular basis it is still a no brainer for nearly 100% of people.

First Moderna shot in Feb, sore arm for 48 hours. Second shot in March 2-3 hours later I had chills, mild fever, aches, some nausea for 18 hours, and arm felt fine. After those 18 hours, felt normal.

First Pfizer shot: Slightly sore arm, not issues.
Second Pfizer shot: Developed a fever of 101.5, pretty good headache, tired, starting about 18 hours after I got the shot. All symptoms disappeared within 18 hours of developing.

Several coworkers got the shot at the same time (and same clinic). One had zero symptoms from either shot, one claimed a little bit of nausea from both shots, and my boss is getting his second shot this afternoon (along with his wife and one of their daughters).

Both of my parents had both pfizer shots and no issues (other than typical slightly sore arms from getting a shot).

Younger brother (33) and his GF both had no issues with the first pfizer shot but they both felt like crap after the second one (this weekend).

I got the Phizer shots. First one was fine other than normal shoulder/injection site pain similar to flu shot. Second shot affected me but hit the next morning. I had slight fever feeling, some aches, fatigue and slight headache. After a few hours I popped a couple of Tylenol and once those kicked in I was good. Took 2 more later on once I felt the aches creeping back in. 2nd day I was good.

I had mine last Wednesday and had to watch the needle go out to actually make sure I got a shot. No arm soreness, no symptoms, no nothing. Felt great before, during and after.

My wife had immediate arm soreness and was okay that night, but felt flu-like symptoms the next day. Body aches and fever. Her arm was still sore yesterday and I still feel nothing.

I am almost questioning whether or not I really got the shot.

Zero deaths from a vaccine is unheard of.
Even if every death that was reported to VAERS was directly linked to the vaccine (which obviously is not true) as of March 29th the deaths reported would be 0.0017% of those who have received a vaccine (see below). Since then we have only ramped up our vaccine distribution so that number is probably even lower. It is essentially zero (again that is including every single death that has been reported). I do agree that zero deaths is probably not 100% true but it basically is and talking about basically non-existent vaccine deaths while 1,000 people die from COVID per day seems kind of silly.

This is what's so weird...I don't think you're the only one. I was kind of expecting it to be really smooth and was really shocked at how hard it put me down.
