They might be more willing to box out against the cheerleaders too, so that would help
I think ISU would give up to many rebounds, because I would rather be boxed out by a cheerleader than box one out! lol
Have you seen those chaps they wear? If a (female) Texas cheerleader is putting a body on me in the lane, I'm going to have a really hard time running out of the gym or pretty much anywhere for that matter.
Some people will say the defenders hands were all over them, but really it is just aggressive defense
Unless there is a quick change, Roach suspension will last past tomorrows game.

My guess is that if they miss the tournament this year, his best case scenario is a do or die season on the hot seat. 50/50 between that and being canned.
I would guess he's safe for one more year, they have a good recruiting class (the area Shaka has had success at every year in Austin). Obviously the AD expected better results after signing Shaka but he does have a pretty big buyout and UT fans focus wayyy more on Football to raise a huge fuss on results on the court. As of today, I'd be mildly surprised if he's let go.
Smart's seat will be hot going into next year, so he could decide to jump early if he's worried.
Roach may still be out but that just lines up for some bench player to come out and go crazy.
I'll believe it when I see it.
This. Dean Wade was supposedly out for our game in Hilton - that ended up NOT being true. I certainly hope the good Wigs and the good THT show up tomorrow - then, as another poster put it, we won't have to worry about Roach's availability.
Throw in that Mason played in Hilton after missing some games and Noi for TCU sits out 3 games only to come back against us.
