USU up 10, 10 minutes left. USU is 3-4 with losses to powerhouses such as Cal Poly.

I love to see the Hawks lose. Unfortunately we have enough trouble of our own right now.....not too sure how we'd do against USU with the backcourt issues we have!

Yeah, I'd love to laugh at Iowa but after watching us barely beat two horrible teams and lose to a low level Big 10 team in Hilton, it's difficult. Please get healthy Wes.

Unfortunately, I kind of expected this. Tate doesn't help much, but he adds a physical body inside. Without him and his experience, Iowa is even younger. 9 scholly players are now seeing action on the floor. It'll be a long year for the Hawks, but I'm very excited with the type of play I see glimpses of.

Didn't he use up all his eligibility and sign with, then get cut from an NFL team? You are talking about Drew right?

Got it, just wanted to make sure.

Of course, Cyrus will be the 2nd Tate that has kind of turned out to be a bust after a promising start....

Bust? Good ol' Drew is the pride of Regina! He's being kept on the Saskatchewan Roughriders' lineup by being on the injured reserve list...except he's not injured. Now why would they go to the trouble of finding a loophole in the CFL guidelines and pretending Drew's injured unless he's Doug Flutie/Warren Moon reincarnate?

Not to nitpick drive4cy but I have my doubts that Minnesota will finish in the lower level of a mediocre Big 10 this year. They look to have all the right parts to be pretty decent in my opinion.

First off, the Big Ten is 4-1 against the Big 12. And the teams they have beaten are ISU, Oklahoma State, Missouri, and Colorado. The only loss is an extremely young and inexperienced Ohio State team against a very talented and veteran Texas A&M team. So if the Big Ten is mediocre, the Big 12 is dismal.

That being said, I don't think Minnesota will finish in the top half. They'll finish higher than Iowa, Penn State, and Northwestern. But I don't see them doing better than Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Ohio State, or Illinois. The only team that's an "if" that they are better than is Michigan.

For the record, I believe that Utah State lost at home this year to EASports (exhibition).
