I'm on my honeymoon in Jamaica. Will be in the room with ISU on the TV & USMNT streaming on the laptop!

DVRing the Yanks. Really thrilled that Mexico and Honduras drew. More draws all around! (except for us ... wins for us)

Things look a lot better with a win under the belt.

Low of 23 in Denver tonight with snow likely beginning to fall at first kick. I hope the Ticos left their sleeves in Costa Rica and that MrOtter is able to sneak a flask in.

Oh man. I did actually bring a flask but the whisey was looooong gone by kick-off. Imagine ISU vs WVU x100, but with a good result! Incredible atmosphere and something I'll never forget but man it was pretty miserable. So glad I went but I've never been so excited to hear the final whistle haha. Then got in the warmth and saw the ISU score. It was a hell of a good night all in all

Way to bring home the win, Otter! I'm sure it was miserable, but that had to be a pretty cool experience.

Jermaine Jones is out with an ankle injury for tomorrow's match vs. El Tri. And US Soccer fans rejoice everywhere!

Meanwhile, ESPN is planning an hour long pre-match show tomorrow night. That's an awful lot of Alexi Lalas to get through before first kick.

I don't care if Landon Donovan just got back, he needs to play since he can actually put the ball on goal unlike everyone else, except Dempsey, who hit it over, wide, backwards, into the ground...

I can see both sides of the Donovan issue. I don't think that there's any question that Landon could help this squad if he was called in, even if he's not at the top of his game right now. But I can also understand the idea that it was Landon's choice to take his sabbatical & his spot on the USMNT is not guaranteed. Especially since he's been kind of hit or miss performance wise in the red, white, and blue as of late.

The US Men boarded a plane today & headed down to Kingston to prepare for their match on Friday. A reminder to those that want to watch, since this is a road qualifier, TV coverage will be on beIN sport. I believe the match will kick off at 8:30 central.

If anybody is interested, Mexico is playing Jamaica in Kingston right now. The match is being broadcast on Telemundo and Mexico is up 1-0.

beIN Sport? Guess I'll have to find a stream online again. Mediacom doesn't have this channel and if it ever did it wouldn't be for another 5 years. If the national team wants to attract fans, they should really have every game available on either ESPN or NBC Sports Network.

The US Soccer Federation doesn't control the TV rights to away matches in CONCACAF - the host federation does. I'm sure the US would love to have this match on ESPN just like all of their home WC Qualifiers, but if the Jamaican Federation sold their TV rights to beIN there's really nothing the US can do.

It is FIFA (or CONCACAF) rules that hosting nations control the broadcasting rights, and beIN happened to obtain all of the US away game rights except against Mexico.
