Aren't the records against the top 50 or top 100 RPI based upon their RPI rankings when you actually play them? I don't think it matters what teams that ISU has already played do from this point on as far as that record goes.

I thought we would move up. A couple teams we beat pulled off some nice wins. Iowa for one, K-State another.

That may be correct, but then the KSU win has to look decent as they were in the Top 25 of the polls at the time-admittadly I don't know what their RPI was then.

I'm almost certain that's not the case.

We passed West Virginia, but got passed by Murray State and The Beach, thanks to both of those teams getting a nice little SOS bump. Not too bad for a 1-1 week. We probably aren't moving much the rest of the way unless we pull off a couple big wins or lose to Tech.

I'll put it this way. If our last win of the year is T. Tech (it could happen) it will raise some eyebrows come selection time. I'm not looking forward to that possible scenario.

Our standings don't matter to the committee. It's been stated as a fact. I still think we'd get in by the skin of our teeth but it won't be a fun couple of days.

The only way I'm going to feel completely comfortable come selection Sunday is going to be if we win over Texas Tech, @K-State and can pull off a win against either Mizzou or Baylor (along w/ one Big 12 tourney win). Look at the latest Nitty Gritty Scenario I posted, both of those teams are considered big-bubble teams and our resume doesn't look much better than those.
