There was a video this spring of Cyclone Equipment teasing a box which looked like a helmet was inside. At some point you have to think a gold (or different color than we have) helmet will make an appearance..right?

All I want is Gold Helmets, the rest I could care less about, just give me GOLD HELMETS.

I've been on the hype-train for gold helmets since ... well, quite a while. Something tells me ISU won't have a gold crown until the new design is unveiled next season. #hunch.

And if it isn't part of the redesign — I don't even want to go there.

I'm one that thinks black looks good, but I just think with it being a Hawk color it just doesn't work. So I'm a no on black in the Uni's, Although the Iowa Ag College throwbacks that Kagavi did were pretty awesome.

It wouldn't be that uncommon... This happens at every level of football including the NFL.

Helmet style I mean, not the sticker/coloring.

Yes, these are two different helmets. Look at the crowns -- one is cut, the other is fully round. Breathing holes are in different spots, too.
