And now all the closet Panther fans can go on there way.
I am a little tired of hearing the most dominant team in the state chant.

They beat ISU when they were about as bad as you will ever see them and with a new system and coach. Calm down over in the Cedar Valley.

Same goes for Basketball. 3 years from now I really think ISU doesn't have too many problems with the Valley teams in the state.

Helluva team, helluva game...sucks the season didn't end like it should have. But it was a fun ride for the Panthers...i am sad they lost but happy iowa isn't in another undeserved bowl game! Now it's on to basketball in the state of iowa and the pounding that both UNI and Iowa State AND Drake for that matter are gonna put on the chokeyes.

Call me an a$$ or whatever you want but I for one am glad the annoying panthers are done. I respect their team and players and they were no doubt the best team in the state but their fans must be some of the most annoying ever. As I have said before 9 out of 10 are hawk fans and probably 5-10 would cheer for the hawks against UNI even if they graduated from UNI...I personally know of several that fit this mold and they are not alone. So to the team: great season, tough game. To the fans of panther nation: eat it and we'll be seeing you again soon. Now if only their basketball team would roll over and die...or maybe if we were a little better than below average.
