KMA-AM has had the Cylcone broadcasts for a number of years, KMA-FM under their former call letters (KKBZ) used to carry Husker sports, but dropped them several years ago. Which one are you talking about....KMA AM or FM?
You don't have to be an alumn of a school to be a fan.....
On Monday, we will launch IowaPrepFanatic.com, a site devoted to high school athletics in the state. Very excited about this.
As far as the KMA thing goes, as I understand it, KMA 960 will still carry Iowa State. 99.1, KMA-FM will carry Nebraska games. I haven't asked anybody from there but that's what my dad told me.
And yes, I think there are as many if not more Husker fans in SWI than Iowa or Iowa State. That's the case in my hometown at least.
Hopefully it goes better than iapreps.com . That site started off very big, but has really gone downhill lately. I love Ia HS Sports so I hope this works out.
IowaPreps was great until about 2006 when they went blacklisting happy. Sucked every since. Boards used to get a ton of posts. Now they are lucky to get 10 posts a day in a lot of forums.
Great. So a bunch of wannabe Eisenhowers can talk about the 15 letters they got in small town Iowa. You know "that guy". It is every other dude at the state wrestling tourney.
