Besides calling us the wrong school and messing up players names, he's just a debbie downer. Long run... horrible defense. 15 yard pass... should have lead him better and would have been bigger gain. Pocket collapses and gets a sack... "wouldn't have happened if QB like Mayfield was back there."
He just comes off as a bitter ex-coach who can't believe ISU can slow the offense with a 3-man front or that OSU can play defense without blitzing every play against a freshman.

Haha, I thought this was just me! I didn’t get a chance to watch the WVU game with sound, but if tonight’s commentary was anything like the commentary for WVU, I feel for you guys who had to endure two straight games listening to these morons. I couldn’t believe it was Tuberville at first. I think at one point he said Montgomery was averaging 97 yards a carry?? And he was constantly interjecting with bad play calling advice. Makes sense as to why he was fired!
Not to go on this route, but this is pure sexism. Beth Mowins is 10x the broadcaster Patrick or Tuberville are. Patrick was really good about 15 years ago, but he's lost it. I sense that Tuberville is just kinda dumb.
Haha this is spot on. I couldn't figure out what it was that was so off putting, but you're right. The guy seems miserable.
For me, it's not her depth of knowledge or her analysis . It's her voice. It really grates on my ears.
Her voice is bad, but give me that over Tubby who is the equivalent a drunk at a dive bar giving his two cents. Patrick is more skilled, but he’s mailed it in.

He was God awful to listen to during the WVU game. Glad I have season tickets and didn't have to listen to his drivel during this game. He is the epitome of " I know all and if your team hasn't been successful I will tell you where your coach screwed up" . The classic Arm Chair quarterback that know exactly what to do after the play has run.
Tubberville went 1-2 against Iowa State while at Tech and his losses were by a combined score of 93 - 45.
On top of that, he sort of "groomed" Chizik and Rhoads, who haven't exactly been successful at Iowa State.

Earlier in the week he was complaining on ESPNU radio about having to come up to the cold in Ames. He asked Steve Spurrier if he wanted to trade jobs.
