I would love to see us fill those last two scholarships with these two stud forwards. CW mentioned them both by name in his most recent article so I'd imagine our staff is going after them both hard. Homerun type transfers I know. Why didn't they work out at Kansas and Kentucky respectively?

I appreciated Blums article on Baylor and how the majority of their players weren't high profile recruits. I also remember that Virginia team from a couple of years back that won it all with a roster full of high level four star players that all stayed on campus for a few years. This future roster would get me excited to say the least:

G - Hunter
G - Lipsey
F - Fletcher
F - Enaruna
C - Foster

Here’s an article explaining the Fletcher situation.. If you don’t want to read it, Cam’ron was dissatisfied with the minutes he was getting and stepped away from the team then later came back. Coach K told the media he was sorting out his priorities.

Tristan struggled to see the floor a lot because he was stuck behind a lot of talent and he also hasn’t blossomed into his proposed potential. He’s got such a high ceiling.

I don't think you mean "Coach K", right?

I know Florida St and Memphis are both going hard after Fletcher, haven’t really heard much at all on Enaruna looks like he is keeping his recruitment low key

I have no problem taking a shot on a kid like Fletcher if you have a strong cultured team around him who isn't going to tolerate the "poor me" mindset when someone doesn't get enough minutes. Seems kind of risky to me but I would assume Otz has a plan if that's the route he is willing to go. Kid appears to be a hell of a talent.

Would love the Kansas kid!

I don’t think that Fletcher would have much of a problem seeing major minutes here. But yes I’m sure TJ knows what he’s doing. Fletcher is a crazy type of talent. Offers from almost every single blue blood except Duke.

Both will have major interest from the top schools. Thing is both went to the blue bloods and were blocked from playing time so I not sure they want to jump into the same situation next year.
Normally I wouldn't like ISU's chances vs Mem and FSU considering both could be top 20 teams next year, but with the role ISU has to offer both am cautiously optimistic they will seriously consider the Cyclones. I still wouldn't peg ISU as the favorite for either at this point either would be fantastic gets for TJ,

While I agree with that, I also look at it from the perspective of if he is not doing what he needs to be doing and still expects to be playing, it could create problems. Regardless, TJ has been around egos before. As long as you don't let it overtake a locker room, you're good. Hope he becomes a Cyclone. We need some high flyers!

Yeah I’m in full agreement! If TJ thinks it won’t be an issue, I’m all for it!

I don't know that a player came in with a worse locker room rep than Kane and it worked out perfectly. He temporarily took a starting job from our greatest career point guard and even that particular relationship strengthened the team.

If you have a strong culture established, it can work. New staff coming in with a bunch of new players. Again, hope it works but at the same time you gotta be a little skeptical. Also, Fred was known as working well with egos. I don't know if TJ is as skilled as Fred when it comes to that.

I think that’s way overly reading too much into the situation.

Unless you were sitting there at their practices. In which case, I apologize.

I tend to read too much into situations, I don't know anything beyond thoughts and dealing with egos myself.

Again, hope we get the kid because, regardless, Otz has shown he's not afraid to call players out if they aren't living up to expectations.

Calipari has completely lost the Kentucky program. Don’t blame any player for being frustrated and transferring out of that dumpster fire.

Sounds like there's a little more to Fletcher's situation then Kentucky not being in a good spot. I'd still take him
