How glorious is it to have no Hawk fans here tonight?
They're certainly not great, but we made them look worse than they are.
The worst defensive opponent we've had yet. They have size, but don't put it to any purpose.
You sure? Any team with a pulse they've played they've gotten beat...badly.
Quite. They ended up losing by 8 to Creighton, 12 to OU and beat Seton Hall by 13. This was as much about ISU imposing their will as it was about Iowa not being great.
...will this help our NET...Slaughtering another bad team by 25? Asking for a friend. ;-)
I'm clearly not saying that they are. They look like an NIT team at best right now, though that could change. Just saying that we had something to do with it.
That I agree with 100%. I'm kinda interested to see how they do against a pretty bad Michigan team this weekend.
That's not quite fair.
They're also slow and unskilled. A couple of them can shoot 3s at a decent clip if left unguarded, though.
The Creighton and OU games weren’t as close as the final score would indicate.
And even tonight and the Purdue game could have been 10+ more than each ended up being
Iowa has very little Talent. Sanfort is a good shooter but a role player on most teams. He’s Iowas star player. Nobody on that team scares any other team. Iowa spends all their NIL money on football and it shows.
Iowa will do well/hang against teams that play finesse basketball but teams that play physical ball will make them their b!tch.
Good thing they are in the B1G. All they have to do is finish in the top 10 in the conference. Remember, it's a real meatgrinder.
