First time all year I'm answering yes on this weekly thread.

This win not only helped with a better B12 seed, it bumped us a seed or two in the big dance.

Really hard to rationalize that there are 32 better teams to have us at a 9 seed, win one or two in the B12 tournament and it's 7 or better.

Go away.

We went 1-1 this week, so no.

Not sure if serious........

Losing a nail biter against a top 10 team on the road, and beating a top 10 team at home?

Teams with a dozen Big 12 conference wins who do that are ranked more often than not.

Our loss this week was to a top 8 team, who might be on the brink of a #1 seed now that Duke got thumped at home, and they beat us who just beat another top 10 team in Baylor.
So yes we will move up now, and we played them hard in Columbia so it wasn't a bad loss.

Not all losses are created equal. We had Missery on the ropes, on the road. Plus, we finished above Baylor, a team that's been ranked all year (most of it in the Top Ten), in the conference standings.

I'm not saying we will, and I frankly don't care if we are, but I really think we could go either way. It's certainly more ambiguous than any other week of the season.

I think finishing third in a league with 3 top ten teams, and not being a top ten team (or ranked at all) yourself is an injustice. Throw us a bone, AP.

With the way we have been playing for the past couple weeks, and this week especially, we deserve to be around #24/25.

people are going to start going huh? how is an unranked team finished higher than Baylor I'm guessing they drop to #12 or #14 In that regards we will crack top 25 as to not make it look wierd

Unless Mizzou runs the table in KC, there isn't a snowball's chance in you-know-where that Mizzou is a 1 seed in the NCAAs. If any team from the Big XII is getting that, it's KU.

Having said that, I think we're ranked in the AP, but just outside the top 25 in the coaches poll.
