This makes me think about what Woody wrote about college athletes this week after Sash's passing.
Really................that? "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat". You cannot have one without the other. Just as the praises come with the thrill...........the criticism comes with the agony. It's just a game. If you haven't seen Stallone's last "Rocky" movie...you need to. Where he tells his son that winning isn't how hard you can hit....but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Very inspiring line. So if just by telling a athletic player to "sack up" makes everyone take pause.......well then maybe we need to pack the cheerleading uniforms, put away the band instruments, bull doze the SEZ, stop giving scholarships, pay CPR $10 dollars an hour and give everyone a participation ribbon.

It could always be worse. Just imagine what Arkansas fans are thinking right now. Something along the lines of AAAHHH where the heck is Toledo even from, we can't lose $EC, unpossible.

Come on, we have under 150 yards rushing and u guys want to b**** about Richardson.

This is the worst rushing average of 71 ypg for an an ISU team in decades. We are not hitting last year's offensive averages for last year. 305 ypg is not much.

KU did get blown out by Memphis with 651 yards offense. That may be Peak Offense Game.

Honestly, Brown is the only one who has superior push when hit. Trevor is small and Warren and Thomas wheels do not chug that fast.

Maybe if the run game existed, the opposing defense would have to be concerned with it.

Richardson getting passes off to begin with were kind of remarkable. Two O-lineman were getting split by one Dlineman often.
Nate Meyers was God. Was Dagel suppose to be blocking him?

Toledo will kick our *** as SBR will wilt again. He is terrible and I cannot for the life of me understand the defense of him - must be his friends as a starter he blows. I saw CJB look totally calm on the road and make great throws - SBR took forever to unload a bad pass. Were the WR's open all the time - no! How about rolling left/right - maybe a quick dart. F the play book and go with it as supposed to be zone read - or is it now fully scripted w/o adjustments? The offense is a MESS and MANDUD has not done anything - we score less points with him. Just frustrated with this apologizing for bad qb play - put in the Lanbeast or The Hack. Make it exciting for the fans as SBR has proven he cannot win games.
