a good fan would go to the game and support the team, if you cant afford it or already have plans that is different

I can afford it but I'm not paying $28 + print-at-home fees + order fee + whatever other stupid fees they have to go to a glorified high school gym to watch us play Drake. That's ridiculous.

Looks like seats are still available for the game @ Drake, tomorrow at 8pm. It's sad if this game isn't a sellout... 7,000 seat arena 30 miles from Ames. Plus, a very big contingent of Cyclone fans live in Polk County anyway. Hope to see all of you at the Knapp Center tomorrow.

It's kind of funny to think it's sad that WE can't sell out DRAKE's stadium. Poor, poor Drake. I do agree it would be nice to see a packed house full of Cyclones.

I think the point is we have 60k Alumni in the DSM area, and can't get 3,000 to go to the game.

This. Kinda pathetic if you ask me. I'm not even a year out of school, so I would be willing to assume I make less than most posters on year, yet I'm ponying up the outrageous sum of $28 to go see it.

I looked today and the cheapest ticket I could find was $28. I would never pay that...

That's still cheap. After paying $50plus to every KU vs. Iowa State games ($80 for vs. Iowa State this year), $28 is still cheap!

I'm a freshman and me and two buddies are going (one a freshman, one a sophomore). If we are fan enough to go, I'm sure a lot of you can too.

Thank you for going. I'd be willing to bet that you make less as a college student than a DSM area alumni, as well as are making a longer drive. What happened to enthusiasm like this among alumni?

On my victory lap at Iowa State and we've got a carload headed down.

And the ticket fee is only $5.

If I live an hour and a half away, can afford to go, want to go, but have a lot of work to do because I am taking off early to go to the football game Friday. Does that make me a bad fan?
