Holy Yards and Points Batman! The TOE could play for 10 years and not put those numbers up. Purdy finds his groove.
Just dumb enough for the ISR forum. Agree, have to feed those trolls and generate clicks. This thread is horrible and deserves to be closed, but I'll send it to in-state rivals.
It goes to show what playing two games compared to one game means to the ISU football team. Had we played a game after UNI, our team would have been a lot sharper and refined against Iowa. It is freaking stupid as hell to go into a rivalry game early in the season and they get advantage of two games to our one, just freaking stupid. Well, we paid the price for it.
Predicted this would be an excuse even before the game was played. Goes both ways, Iowa played a second game and sustained several more injuries which Iowa State was able to take advantage of, that had a far bigger impact than getting a bye week with extra time to prepare for Iowa.
You're a moron if you think ISU spent the bye week preparing for Iowa

They put in work, those trick plays they created for the Iowa game were pretty slick.
Which one, the double pass or the one where they tried to psych Iowa out by flatlining their own player instead of taking the ball back at the 1:30 mark?
The latter was definitely something truly innovative.
They clearly spent the week focusing on special teams instead. You're a moron if you think ISU spent the bye week preparing for Iowa
