Zero issue with this.

One push back I've heard (besides angry Republicans) though is from women. Most women I know hate the idea of sharing restrooms with men. They have this idea that guys are going to **** all over the walls and piss on everything, making them disgusting.
Women's bathrooms are nastier than men's 100% of the time

I lifeguarded in high school and had to clean restrooms every single day

It's just something I hear from both my wife and female friends on a regular basis.

I haven't been in enough women's restrooms to know.

Off-topic from cleanliness:

If there are an odd number of urinals, don't go to an even number if you're the first person in there (i.e. 3 urinals - don't go to the middle one)

One of the most uncomfortable moments I had was in a restroom where there were about 12 urinals. I was at the one of the far left. The rest were empty. Some dude comes in and goes to the one right next to me.

Except the fact that men's restrooms are basically effing gross and women shouldn't have to be subjected to the stuff men do to a toilet since they actually have to sit on it.

If it's an emergency I get it. If it's not, wait it out.
I'll have to disagree with you on that one. From my 4 years of working in fast food and cleaning bathrooms, I can say without a doubt the women's restroom was much dirtier.

Back when Storms Hall was still part of Towers at ISU the 1st floor all men's floor did not have urinals and the 8th floor all women's floor had both urinals and stools in their bathrooms. I was told that originally the 1st floor was a female only floor but due to safety concerns they changed it to an all male floor at some point. We basically had to make a rule that stall #1 was pee only, stall #2 was pee or poop, and stall #3 was poop only because we needed to keep at least 1 toilet per bathroom halfway decent and not have guys piss all over every stool on the floor. I imagine it was awkward for the females to have half their bathroom with urinals that never got used.

And do these women have separate bathrooms at home? They are probably sharing a bathroom with male family members and/or guests.
